Honoring New Icons
We are announcing the appointment of new St Bede’s College Icons at this year’s Annual Dinner.
The Icon initiative was established during our centenary in 2011 to recognise individuals whose lifelong service and dedication reflect the values of Fide et Opere — by Faith and by Works. These Icons represent the very best of the Bedean spirit and are an enduring part of our rich story.
Six Icons were named in 2011, and their legacies are celebrated through pictorial and narrative displays in the Performing Arts Centre. This year, we are honoured to acknowledge more remarkable individuals whose contributions have left a lasting impact on our community.
There could be no better occasion to celebrate them than at our centennial Annual Dinner.

Do you know someone whose story deserves to be celebrated? Someone whose achievements have inspired others and upheld the values and spirit of St Bede’s?
As always, we will be announcing the winners of our Annual Awards at the Dinner event. This year, alongside our Sports and Culture Awards, we are excited to introduce a new award for Business and Leadership. This award will recognise an old boy who has made a significant impact through entrepreneurial success, innovation, or leadership on a national or global stage.
Nominees must be old boys of St Bede’s College who have demonstrated excellence and have been acknowledged nationally or internationally in one of these areas.
