Post Earthquake Updates
Earthquake Update, Wednesday 15 June 2011, 5:30pm
School has resumed as normal today.
We would encourage parents to let us know if your son is not going to be at school over the next few days (sickness or earthquake related) so that we can provide appropriate support.
There will be a newsletter this week. It will contain details about weekend sport.
Earthquake Update, Tuesday 14 June 2011, 3:40pm
The college has been inspected by Structural Engineers today and has been approved for re-opening tomorrow, Wednesday 15 June, at the usual time of 7.45am.
Students are advised to bring their own drinking water for the remainder of this week until three clear well tests have been completed.
Usual sports practices will run but Wednesday sports have been cancelled this week.
Earthquake Update, Monday 13 June 2011 4:20pm
The college is currently closed following the two aftershocks on Monday 13th. It will remain closed on Tuesday 14th to enable engineers to check all teaching and learning spaces.
The boarding school has had a preliminary check and remains open.
This notice will be updated later on Tuesday 14th June.
Update: 8:50pm – All St Bedes College sports practices are cancelled for Tuesday 14th June

Welcome to Marian College, Monday 21 March 2011
On behalf of the staff and students of St Bede’s we extend a warm welcome to Marian College. Operating two schools on one site will take patience, will require compromises to be made, and will rely on mutual respect. There is a strong desire from both schools to make it work well for the benefit of the students of both Colleges who remain uppermost in our minds.
