Facilities
Situated on over 22 hectares of fields and trees, close enough to the centre of Christchurch to be able to make full use of the city’s amenities, but private enough to retain its own air of tranquility and spaciousness, the College enjoys grounds and facilities that are the envy of many.
Major new projects and renovations have taken place over the past 30 years with the result that the buildings are comfortable, modern, and most importantly, function well for those learning and working in them.
The oldest building on the site is the Chapel, extensively altered in 1990 to allow greater scope for modern liturgies: it retains its prime location at the centre (both physically and spiritually) of the life of the College. The Chapel is currently closed for earthquake strengthening.
