Serving and Volunteering for Others

Our Goal is to fulfil our promise to live by faith and work, and is based on the belief that God loves us so much that we should share our love in return. ‘We love because God first loved us’ 1 John 4.19.

SVO ’servo’ Group Actions:

• Letter writing programme in support of the human rights of others;
• Fairtrade actions – our students raised the profile of Fairtrade in the Christchurch Square last year and also presented at assembly in front of the Prime Minister of Tonga; one of our students is also on the Fairtrade Fortnight planning committee;
• Various boys have responsibilities such as with Tearfund, local mission (such as the homeless), International awareness (such as Fairtrade matters), volunteers (promoting younger student involvement), and awareness of political and religious persecution.
