About The Foundation
The St Bede’s College Foundation was established in 1980 to help ensure that the College tradition of excellence in secondary catholic education since 1911 continues. From the beginning the College has benefited from private funds and these have played a significant part in establishing the facilities and programmes that make St Bede’s one of the nations leading schools.
• The primary role of the Foundation is to provide opportunities for people to support St Bede’s College through donations, bequests and investments. It is registered charitable trust.
• The Foundation operates independently as a separate professional entity that is managed by elected trustees and works closely with the Board of Proprietors, the Board of Trustees, the Old Boys Association, the Rector and the Development Office.
• The Foundation depends on the enthusiasm and goodwill of the Bedean Community to provide oversight of the Foundation and secure funds.
