Yr 9 Graphics Tech
At Year 9 students will learn the fundamental skills of drawing, graphic communication and designing. The first half of the course focuses on 2D and 3D drawing skills and a basic understanding of the process of design. The second half of the course reinforces these skills using a practically based project, where students will gain personal satisfaction from making their own mockups and prototypes of their design outcomes.
The course addresses the following areas:
- Learning 2D and 3D drawing systems
- Learning the process of design and how to communicate their ideas using design language
- Learning about design presentation
