Yr 13 Design Technology
Students will use technological practice to write their own brief for a need they have identified. They will develop a outcome in conjunction with a client and stake holders, manufacture the outcome and evaluate its success against the agreed brief.
Students may be offered a three day taster course in welding at CPIT, with full costs being met by STAR funding.
Prerequisite for entry into Year 13 Design Technology is a good background in technology and a minimum of 16 Level 2 credits in Design Technology. The HOF Technology, upon request, will consider other students, with good grades and work habits, if places are available.
