Yr 12 Business Management

This course is a combination at level 2 Accounting and Economics standards.

Achievement Objectives

Students will be able to:

  • Explore issues through the definition and description of economic concepts and terms and the processing and interpretation of statistical data in relation to these issues.
  • Investigate, using primary data, a current economic issue including describing the purpose of the investigation, gathering, presenting, processing, analysing and interpreting the data to make generalisations consistent with the purpose.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of accounting subsystems through the description and analysis of the sub systems.
  • Prepare and use an investigative tool to collect information and prepare a report on accounting subsystems.
  • Process financial transactions using computer soft ware for a sole proprietor registered for GST on an invoice basis.

The year 12 Business Management course is covered in four units of work, each unit is assessed against one or more achievement standards as shown below.
