Learning Outcomes.
Students will be able to:
- Recount the story and tradition of St. Bede’s College.
- Recount significant events in the life of Jesus, and religious, political and social groups of that time.
- Make an ordered and practical study of the Church’s seasons and consider the development and current structure of the Mass.
- Identify significant persons and events in the Church’s story from its very beginnings to 800AD.
- Identify significant persons and events in the Church’s story from its beginnings in New Zealand.
- Compare various creation stories and state the truths contained in the Genesis accounts of Creation.
- Explore the ways in which we experience the mystery of God in our world.
- Develop and understanding of the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist.
- Experience, reflect on, and personally evaluate aspects of prayer.
