Yr 13 Statistics & Modelling (MAS)
This course is designed for students going into fields where the collection, mathematical analysis and interpretation of data are important, e.g. biological and social sciences, medicine, commerce and administration.
The entry requirement is a total of 16 Level 2 Mathematics credits, which includes an achievement in Probability or Statistics.
There are seven Achievement Standards to study and be assessed, which earn 24 credits. Three of the units are internally assessed and four of the units are externally assessed in the form of an examination at the end of the year.
