Yr 13 Calculus (MAC)
This course is recommended for students going on to study mathematics, science, engineering, medicine, computer science, accounting and economics at university.
The entry requirement is a total of 16 Level 2 Mathematics credits, 4 of which must be in Calculus and 4 must be in Algebra.
There are five Achievement Standards to study and be assessed, which earn 24 credits. One of the units is internally assessed and four of the units are externally assessed in the form of an examination at the end of the year.

The eligible students will be ranked and placed in an appropriate calculus class. There will be two classes (13MAC) which will focus on the highest level, including Scholarship, and one class 13 CAL as described below.
