Yr 11 Maths Applied
Mathematics Applied (MAP)
This course provides for students who wish to continue with maths but have not gained entry into the full Year 11 NCEA course. The course covers the following Unit Standards that have a total of 17 credits, which will help students to qualify for some polytechnic courses and the National Certificate in Employment Skills.

| US5227 | 3 Credits | Solve problems involving time and money |
| US5229 | 2 Credits | Use geometry to describe situations and solve problems |
| US5230 | 3 Credits | Carry out a statistical investigation and interpret data |
Students who show an ability to achieve at Level 2 can progress to Y12 Maths Applied.
