Yr 11 Multi-Course
Year 11 Multi-Course English is designed to continue literacy and literature studies, in the written, oral and visual strands of the curriculum. Students will have the opportunity to achieve a mix of Level 1 Achievement and Unit Standards, with both internal and external assessments involved. The year of study will be at a slower pace for those students who need more time to consolidate writing skills and understanding.
A total of 18 Level 1 credits will be available. The course covers the literacy credits required for Level 1 NCEA.
This course will lead on to the 12 Multi Course English and admittance is by approval of the Head of Faculty in consultation with the Year 10 English teacher and the student’s parents/caregivers.
