Maadi Cup 2013

What a fantastic week at Maadi Cup where every rower made a final and performed to their very best which saw the College win 2 gold medals, a silver and two bronze medals.

All rowers stayed on a local Marae in Cambridge and were privileged to experience a big part of the Maori culture, and I know this experience will stay with them for the rest of their lives. All rowers embraced this experience and I was very proud of each and every one of them as I was very fortunate to see this first hand.

St Bede’s College also finished 6th equal at Maadi and were the top South Island boys’ school and are fast becoming a formidable name in the rowing circles.
