Drama

The Drama department has been growing in capacity and capability over the past 4 years. As well as producing numerous NCEA Drama Productions there are numerous activities that all Bedeans can participate in. The most popular being the Major Production and Stage Challenge.

Within the Junior Drama Curriculum students participate in theatre sports games. They then are able to carry on developing these skills and participate in the Junior and Senior Theatre Sports Competition. Although Shakespeare is a part of the Senior Drama curriculum there is the opportunity for students to compete outside class in the Sheilah Winn Shakespeare Festival, either with a student- or teacher-directed piece. This is open to all year levels.
